My experience in Bogota Fashion Week

Just as every girl at some point in their childhood, I also dreamed of being a model or designer. It was one of the most fleeting dreams that went through my head. Now I know the basics. Combine clothes, choosing proper jewelry and makeup properly. When I called to cover the Bogotá Fashion Week, I had several feelings. The first was a lot of emotion, after about two minutes of being so, I worried. I did not know the slightest Colombian fashion. So during the next two weeks I visited the official website of the festival, designers studied and I learned the agenda. It was the best he could do.

When the day came not know what to expect. I was scared because I felt that I had not prepared me enough, but I really eager to be on the catwalks, because I never could witness a real life. I arrived on Tuesday 25 April at 3 afternoon at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce Avenue 26. Among the showroom where they had all designers festival, each displaying clothing or accessories collection.

Leah arrived and headed to the catwalk, who he was behind the building, since I had to rehearse for the Opening the joyas. It was at that moment when the first gateway witness. Although women were not models and it was not the truth parade, It was magical. All women modeling brought him a different element to the catwalk, that made her come alive.

When the time came to public parade, the integration of those attending the parade made it even better. Seeing women and men walk the catwalk, I could well imagine parading. It was a very enriching experience, not only for viewers who could prove jewelry designer, but for all the people who could relate / models.

Of the few shows I've seen on TV, I had always thought that was very extravagant clothes for me or that I could never wear that because I look bad. When the parade began Ana Laverde, that thought vanished. Geometric shapes of bags and vivid colors, They showed that anyone could use them, they were very beautiful and elegant designs very simple but at the same time.

Gateways that followed after that, I continued to surprise. Lina Cantillo from, where he used only red tones for your garments, to Custo Barcelona, with their bright jackets and pants psychedelics. On Wednesday, We arrived at 3 pm. We were able to visit the Showroom and interviewing designer shoes Estrada Julieth.

The showroom was filled with designers who presented their garments on the catwalk. It's amazing how changing clothes from one setting to another. The same dress I saw yesterday in a model, Now it looked like a piece of ordinary clothes. The gateway lets the copper fashion life.

Thursday routine was almost the same, We arrived at 2 pm, We were in the showroom doing more interviews and then the 3:30 we went to the catwalk to begin the last afternoon of Bogota Fashion Week. That day the catwalk was much more crowded, as the best designers of the week presented. Betina Spitz, Amelia Toro among others.

Overall it was a very pleasant experience. All designers who had the opportunity to meet (Julieth Estrada, Luisa Alvarado, Alvaro Avila and Ana Laverde) They are people like all of us.
