This time the Avon Foundation for women, hand in hand with designers Diego Guarnizo and María Luisa Ortiz created a collection called “Purification”, who speaks to us in a loving way to give us a great message, make respect for women fashionable.
This collection gives us a loving message to respect who we are, our limits and above all pay attention to our interior, with the wisdom of the earth. The common thread of history, is purification, who falls in love with the town's heartthrob and ends up mistreating her. Time after, Purificación meets a foreigner who walked the steps of Mutis and finds in her a sea of knowledge in the secrets of the earth and wisdom about the properties of plants. With the confidence that they build Purificación tells you their story, He motivates her to report and as a result of her Purificación experience she becomes a free woman, strong and powerful.
The prints that were seen in the collection were plants and animals of power: The dragonfly that represents light after growth, the hummingbird transmits joy, cucarrones are powerful totems to bring out our wisdom and plants like guayacanes, mahogany and eucalyptus. A collection full of meanings, not only in the used elements, also in its colors and accessories, that there are also.
The colors that were seen the most on the catwalk were: Verde, ocher, mustard, sky blue and ivory, that are part of the landscape and the abundance of Colombian lands.
The collection can be found through Avon representatives.
