A diet rich in carotenoids gives skin a glow and healthy. Carotenoids are antioxidant found in fruits and vegetables in addition to fruits and vegetables, orange and yellow colors can give the skin an appearance that resembles the tan.

Studies at the University of Leeds have found that people describe this as more attractive to people who supplement their diet with fruits and vegetables like cantaloupe, carrots and broccoli, which gives a healthy glow to the skin, without exposure to the sun for hours.

Participants in the study viewed digitized images of Caucasians, bronzed by the sun, Suntan camera and people who had a diet high in fruits and vegetables containing carotenoids. The results of the studies showed that respondents seemed to them more attractive on a 86% percent of people with high carotenoid.

Dr.. Carmen Lefevre commissioned the study says eating three times a day foods high in carotenoids such as carrots, broccoli, cantaloupe, peaches, lettuce and tomatoes for six weeks can get a tan with a healthy glow.
