This brand impressed me with the great design of Alejandro and Daniel Lugó, Their creators. Focused on masculine garments for ceremonies. They participated in the Epic project: Innovation Challenge of the Mayor's Office of Medellín and Inexmoda, they were in charge of the catwalk of the Mayor's Office of Medellín. The collection was called "The Lugó Brothers Conservatory" designed for "gentlemen thirsty for adventure"
The Lugo brothers' proposal made up of tuxedos, suites, Levites, men's tailcoats and swimwear, for the summer time it was impressive for its vivid patterns, handling of fabrics such as velvet in some of its proposals and the combination of print on print.
“For this collection we had four references that were key to fulfilling this dream: The Cabinets of Curiosities, the botanical expeditions of José Celestino Mutis, the paintings of Frans Francken the Younger and the gastronomy of Juan Santiago Gallego”, affirmed Daniel Lugo, creative director of the brand.
The prints were present throughout the collection, the beetle being the distinctive sign on the entire catwalk. the color palette handled various shades of green: moss, forest and alive that contrasts with violet or eggplant tones (one of the most organic combinations that exist).
This collection included looks for women with masculine elements and straight lines., giving them a feminine and sensual touch. Proposals for children were also seen on the catwalk.
